On tour . . . virtually, that is.

I'm on a virtual book tour this month through the services of the terrific and hardworking team at Pump Up Your Book Promotion.com. If you want to join me or just take a peek at how a virtual blog tour works, you can find my daily tour stops here: http://virtualbooktours.wordpress.com/
Because the tour stops need to be updated by the bloggers themselves, I'll add my stops by week here. This week, I'll be interviewed and/or the book will be featured at:

Sept. 2 – Amateur de Livre (book review): www.amateurdelivre.wordpress.com

Sept. 4 – Fictionary (interview): http://cballan.wordpress.com/2008/08/02/meet-princess-juana-in-cw-gortners-historical-fiction-the-last-queen/

Literate Housewife (book review):http://literatehousewife.wordpress.com/

Sept. 5 - The Book Connection (Guest post): http://www.thebookconnectionccm.blogspot.com/

Hello C.W., I came across mention of your new book on a reader's blog, and was thinking it looked interesting (and why is that name familiar...?) Then I realize that you reviewed MY book, THE SPANISH BOW, last year in Historical Novels Review. Reading your bio and seeing your background and interest in Spain, I feel privileged to have been reviewed by you, and I send a belated thanks as well as a congratulations on your book and your virtual book tour. (Strange world, isn't it?) Now, some might think one author contacting another author is a bit chummy, but having finally and reluctantly entered the world of blogging, I know I appreciate hearing from readers and authors. Getting to read some of your author interviews and guest posts only heightens my interest in your writing, and I'll mention it on my blog, at http://49writers.blogspot.com. (I also have an author website at www.romanolax.com.)

Hi Andromeda! Great to hear from you. Yes, I did review THE SPANISH BOW for HNS and I loved it. I've e-mailed you directly; thanks so much for stopping by and for your support. And BTW: It is a strange world; I was just checking out the new trade paperback of your book today in the bookstore. I love the new cover!
